Mary Henry, a senior at Waynesville High School, has been named the Rotary Student of the Month for March. She was recognized by the Pulaski County Rotary Club on March 22. At WHS, Henry has been a member of the Freshman Mentor Program, National Honor Society, and Beta Club, and has played volleyball and soccer, and also serves as the yearbook editor. Throughout high school, Henry has carried a 3.75 cumulative grade point average. Her nominator wrote, “Mary always displayed confidence throughout the volleyball season. She believed in herself and it helped to make her a leader of our team. I knew I could always count on her when things got hard or tough because she had the confidence to succeed.” Henry is the daughter of Dr. Brian and Dr. Kristina Henry and plans to attend Columbia College in Columbia, where she has signed to play volleyball and will major in sports management.
