The Lady Bears basketball team will play in the Capital City Jamboree tonight in jeff city…..for lady bears fans that would like to attend, Face coverings are required to be worn when social distancing is not possible. Each school has received 50 vouchers for visiting spectators. These will be distributed to the team…..you will need a voucher to attend…..go to the richland school website for more info…..

DIXON lady bulldogs JAMBOREE WAS CANCELLED WITH EUGENE, BUT THEY WERE ABLE TO PICK UP summersville and they’ll hit the road tonight……..
the lady bulldogs opener on friday with belle will not happen due to covid quarentine at belle….
the dixon boys will apparently go to cuba this evening for a jam….

not all teams in the frisco are effected by quarantine situations, but before this year is over, that will most likely change…
the season opener is this friday….
crocker’s boys and girls games with tuscumbia have been postponed and will be picked up just before christmas.
the iberia rangers and lady rangers are still on for linn tomorrow night in a boys and girls double dip..
the newburg girls at russellville friday is still on.
the newburg bous open at salem on saturday at 4..
the richland boys are still hosting vienna tomorrow for their opener.

New York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano has tested positive for the performance-enhancing drug Stanozolol, Major League Baseball announced Wednesday. Because it is his second positive test, Cano has been suspended the entire 2021 season. Cano was also suspended 80 games under the banned substance policy in 2018.

“We were extremely disappointed to be informed about Robinson’s suspension for violating Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program,” team president Sandy Alderson said in a statement. “The violation is very unfortunate for him, the organization, our fans, and the sport. The Mets fully support MLB’s efforts toward eliminating performance enhancing substances from the game.”

Cano, 38, will forfeit $24 million in salary because of the suspension…THAT TURNS OUT TO BE ONE EXPENSIVE DRUG…..

AND WE LEAVE YOY WITH The biggest news in the NFL on Wednesday….a notable loss that the Los Angeles Chargers recently suffered. Starting rookie quarterback Justin Herbert showed up to his media availability and the first thing reporters noticed was the lack of hair on his head.

The quarterback said Wednesday that strength and conditioning coach John Lott was the man behind the clipper who turned Herbert’s long locks into a buzz cut. Naturally, with such a sudden appearance change such as this, Twitter was in a frenzy over the haircut.

It was reportedly his first haircut since 2017 or 2018. Herbert himself said he thought that Lott “did a good job.
