COACH LOGAN RAY OF DIXON SAID “This was an exciting back and forth game that saw many possessions. We got down early in the game and we’re down by 8 after the 1st half. We made a run in the 4th quarter and we’re up by 6 at one point. Unfortunately, it didn’t end the way we we wanted but proud of the effort and grit we showed. We we definitely look to learn and get better from this game.

pittsburgh showed they were not getting pushed around in the 2nd half, came back and pulled within 2 scores, but it was a little too late, and the browns won it, 48-37 and head to kansas city next sunday for a 2pm kickoff against the defending champion chiefs….

Drew Brees will get to celebrate his 42nd birthday by preparing for a playoff game that will also feature the one active NFL quarterback older than him.

Brees completed 28 of 39 passes for 265 yards, connecting with Michael Thomas and Latavius Murray for touchdowns, and the New Orleans Saints defeated the Chicago Bears 21-9 in an NFC wild-card game Sunday.

The victory for the Saints (13-4) and Brees, who turns 42 on Friday, sets up a divisional-round meeting next weekend in the Superdome with Tampa Bay and 43-year-old QB Tom Brady. The Saints won each regular season matchup with the NFC South rival by double digits.

In Week 11, the Titans ruffled the Ravens’ feathers after huddling on Baltimore’s logo during pregame warmups. On Sunday, members of Baltimore’s defense stomped on the Titans’ logo following Marcus Peters’ interception that clinched the Ravens’ 20-13 wild-card win in Tennessee.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who raced to the locker room with time still on the clock, justified his actions after not shaking hands with the Titans following Sunday’s game.

“They were standing on our logo and getting into it with our coach,” Jackson said. “That was disrespectful because we treat all our opponents with respect. … There wasn’t any reason for us to shake hands.”
