He is survived by his daughters, Cherry Elliott of Bowling Green, Missouri, Ellen Corum and her husband Ed of Mount Ayr, Iowa; his son, Mason Pickens and his wife Lisa of Lebanon, Missouri; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brothers, Jim Pickens and his wife Bonnie of Lebanon, Missouri, and Joe Pickens of the state of Arizona.

Arrangements will be announced by Holman Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon, Missouri.
