Marshfield man arrested for sex crimes

A Marshfield man is being held with a bond of $250-thousand-dollars for crimes against a child. 37-year-old Kenneth Ray Owens was arrested earlier this month after an investigation into a complaint that he had sexually molested a 14-year-old. According to the probable cause statement, the sexual molestation of the child happened multiple times beginning in June of 2020. Owens is charged with 6 counts of sodomy or attempted sodomy in the 1st Degree – Aggravated Sexual Offense. His next hearing is set for January 26th in Webster County Court.
