The Marine Mess Volkslauf 10K mud run is an event conducted on Fort Leonard Wood to foster community relationships between the local area and the United States Marine Corps. The race contains multiple man-made obstacles, mud pits, and river crossings. It spans Demolition Road, up Volkslauf Firebreak, crosses the Big Piney River, goes up Ramsey Cemetery and continues in the vicinity of the Big Piney River until finishing at Happy Hollow Park. This race is a fun but challenging event while welcoming all of those who wish to participate and support the Marine Corps Training Detachment FLW.

– You may register as an individual runner or as a team. If you are running with a team, you are encouraged to run together and help each other along the way. Your placement as a team is based on your average finish time, so leave no man behind!

– Event T-shirts will be available to the first 300 runners.

– The race will begin at 8 a-m sharp June 3rd. So, be prepared for rough terrain, water crossings, and mud!
