Only two months into 2023, a ballot question for late 2024 has already been added. Laclede County Commissioners this (Tuesday) morning voted to ask voters if they would support a ban on recreational marijuana within the county. Presiding Commissioner Randy Angst said before the decision Laclede County voters have already voiced their opinion on the issue at the state level last November, and should get the chance again next year.

After a unanimous decision by the Commission, Angst read the official ballot language allowed.

That question will be posed to residents in Lebanon, and Laclede county in November of 2024.
