Maries County Sheriff’s Deputies are currently looking for a subject who fled on foot from law enforcement

Maries County Sheriff’s Deputies are currently looking for a subject who fled on foot from law enforcement at the junction of Highway HH & Maries County Road 621 Tuesday. This was after a vehicle pursuit initiated by Dixon Police which traveled into Maries County and down HH Highway where the subject wrecked at the intersection and fled. The male subject is believed by police to be Anthony B. Russell of Dixon. He was reported to be favoring his ribs as he ran and is possibly injured. Russell was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black hoodie.
