Maries County Manhunt Ends with Capture

The Maries County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man with outstanding felony warrants Wednesday.

Jerry Gatten was arrested after a manhunt.

Gatten has outstanding felony warrants for domestic assault, is on Parole, has former charges of stealing, multiple domestic assaults, assault on law enforcement, and ELEVEN DWI/Excessive BAC arrests.

The sheriff’s office used its K-9 unit and deployed a drone in the manhunt near Highway 63 and Highway 28.

Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman said Gatten was also arrested for resisting arrest.

The Osage County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the manhunt.
