Maries County Arrest

The Maries County Sheriffs Department arrested a man earlier this week who is suspected of Deceptive Business Practices. Members of the Maries County Sheriff’s Office and the Bland Police Department arrested Rodney G. Durban, age 51 of Belle for 7 felony counts of Deceptive Business Practices and 2 felony counts of Financial Exploitation of an Elderly/Disabled person. Durban is being held in the Maries County Jail on a $30,000.00 bond.

Maries County Sherrif Chris Heitman said on Facebook “Durban has taken advantage of many people in our community and I am thankful he is finally being held accountable for his actions.” He also encouraged the victims of Durban’s actions to contact the Missouri Attorney General at 1-800-392-8222 or the Maries County Sheriff’s Office at (573) 422-3381.
