Maplecrest School renovations and storm shelter coming in under budget

A partnership between the Lebanon R-3 School District and the City of Lebanon to bring a storm shelter to the Maplecrest School grounds is coming in under budget. School Superintendent David Schmitz said they have been able to save a substantial amount of money on the project so far…

Schmitz said that overall they are about $300-thousand-dollars under budget. He said they are a bit behind schedule on the completion of the storm shelter because of supply issues due to COVID 19, but they should have the project completed by the end of February.
