A Marshfield man who is accused of killing his wife and hiding her body for 4 years will be arraigned in Circuit Court on August 3rd. 57-year-old Larry Allen Dinwiddie was arrested in 2019 after the body of his wife Cynthia Dinwiddie was found in a freezer that had been in storage since 2015. Dinwiddie, a former truck driver, was contacted by a storage facility employee, who at the request of law enforcement, said the freezer wasn’t working and was beginning to smell. It’s believed that Dinwiddie and his wife Cynthia got into an argument and he hit in the face with a hammer and strangled her. He then hid the body in the freezer for 4 years. Dinwiddie waived preliminary hearing earlier this month and will be arraigned on charges of second-degree murder, armed criminal action and abandonment of a corpse, in Webster County on August 3rd. He remains in custody with a bond of a million dollars.
