Man Injured in Laclede County Motorcycle Accident

A 56-year old Phillipsburg man suffered moderate injuries in a motorcycle pickup truck accident at 6:52 last night on Eastgate Road a mile and a half south of Lebanon. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred when a pickup driven by 40-year old Rebecca L. Teubner of Phillipsburg crossed the center of the roadway and sideswiped the motorcycle ridden by James R. Schaffer, causing the bike to skid off the right side of the road, striking a ditch and a fence. Schaffer was taken to Mercy Hospital in Lebanon.
