Man Faces Theft Charges

Lebanon Police have made another arrest of a man accused of trying to steal a catalytic converter. 42-year old Daniel Green of Lebanon was discovered trying to remove the converter from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Ivey Lane last week. Lebanon Police Chief Bryan Arnold said catalytic converter theft continues to be a problem in the community. Arnold said thieves do not care about the damage they cause to vehicles or how much it costs hardworking citizens in time and money to correct what they have done. Lebanon police officers will continue to aggressively pursue these criminals and take them to jail every chance they get. Citizens can help by letting police know if they see suspicious activity in your neighborhood. Green was charged with misdemeanor property damage in the 2nd degree and attempted stealing; he remains in the Laclede County jail in lieu of $2500 cash or surety bond.
