Man Dead in Columbia Police Shooting

A 38-year-old armed man has been shot and killed by Columbia Police. During a press conference, Columbia Police Chief Geoff Jones says the shooting happened Wednesday afternoon at a Petro Mart gas station.

Jones did not release if the suspect, who is white, pointed the weapon at officers. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the shooting.
