Man charged after trying to sneak brass knuckles into jail
A man who attempted to smuggle contraband into the Laclede County jail is facing felony charges. According to the report from the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, Dustin McNery was transferred from Greene County to Laclede County on outstanding warrants. As he was being processed, McNery was told to take everything out of his pocket and asked if he had anything else on him and he said no. He was then put in the scanner and it showed he had a foreign object in his pants, which turned out to be a pair of brass knuckles. McNery is now charged with Delivery Or Possession Of Weapon At County Jail. His bond was set at $5000 cash or surety.
