A Lebanon man who texted his room mate over 80 messages and destroyed her property because she didn’t let him use her car, is charged with harrassment in the first degree. According to Lebanon Police, the victim reported that 28 year old Dakota Abbott sent her a message wanting her to come back home so he could use her car. She said she didn’t answer the text, and later began getting texted threatening to destroy her property, including her 6 year old’s laptop which is owned by the school and personal documents and photos. Abbott sent the victim video and pictures, including her broken television, and burning papers in the sink. When the victim got back into town, and met with police to get into her home, she was unable to gain entry, because Abbott had blocked the deadbolt. Eventually they were able to get in, and Abbott was arrested. Dakota Aaron Abbott is charged with harrassment and is scheduled for arraignment on June 1st.
