Man charged after machete attack at Business

A Laclede County man is facing multiple charges in connection with an assault with a machete. On Saturday, February 3rd, Laclede County Deputies responded to a business where Dennis Randall Wilson entered through the employee entrance, entered the kitchen, and got into an argument with the business owners, over an ongoing dispute. It was reported that Wilson left but then returned and began yelling. Wilson followed one of the owners inside the store and grabbed a machete off the refrigerator and began swinging it and struck one of the owners. A woman reported that they thought Wilson was going to hurt the other owner and got in between them and was struck in the hand by the machete. Wilson is charged with armed criminal action, felony assault, and domestic assault. He is being held without bond.
