Man arrested after trying to evade arrest

A man who attempted to run away from a traffic stop is facing 3 different charges in Laclede County. A Laclede County Deputy reportedly observed a vehicle running through a stop sign at BB and 5 on March 4th and activated his lights. The driver, later identified as Kenneth R Lintz, jumped out of the car and began running, but was caught by the deputy and taken into custody. When Lintz’ vehicle was being processed, a rifle, and a plastic bag that tested positive for methamphetamine residue was seized. Lintz was found to have a warrant for his arrest and now faces additional charges of possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and resisting arrest.
