Man accused of forcing his way into home

A Camden County man is facing charges following an incident in the 15-hundred block of Hutton Way on Thursday morning. A Camden County Deputy responded to the residence where a woman said that the suspect, Kenneth C. Jones had forced his way into the home and demanded a key to the apartment. Jones and the victim had been in a relationship in the past, but have been separated for about a year, and he had left for Colorado. The woman said that they had been talking off and on since his return for about 2 weeks, but he wasn’t living there. On Thursday morning, Jones forced his way into the home, demanding a key, telling her if she didn’t things will get bad. A deputy arrested Jones a short distance away from the residence, while driving the victim’s car. Jones is charged with burglary and domestic assault.
