Major General Donna Martin issues statement on face book regarding 70 covid-19 cases on Post

(Fort Leonard Wood)–In followup to the announcement over the weekend that 70 soldiers and recruits had tested positive for the coronavirus, Fort Leonard Wood commander, Major General Donna Martin, took to Facebook Monday to announce aggressive mitigation strategies taken to contain the spread.

Major General Martin assured communities around the post that they are not at risk. Pulaski County has not recorded a confirmed coronavirus case in four weeks. It is unknown whether these confirmed cases at Fort Wood will be added to the Pulaski County total.
