Maires County Gun Locks

The Maires County Sheriffs office is giving away free gun locks. Last Saturday the Office of the Maries County Sheriff Chris Heitman Facebook page said that they will be giving free gun locks to anyone who needs them. “Keeping our children safe around firearms is something we take safety and something we encourage in every home. One of the cheapest and most effective ways to keep a firearm safe is with a gun lock. If you or someone you know needs a gun lock, or three even, please reach out to us at the Sheriff’s Office.”

To receive a free gun lock, call the office ahead of time at (573) 422-3381, so office staff can have it ready at the front desk for you to pick up.
