A Warsaw man who attacked another with a machete at an RV Park in Benton County is facing felony charges. Benton County Deputies responded to the call in the 32-thousand block of Highway MM, on Saturday for an assault with a weapon, and found the victim with lacerations to his arm and hand. The victim reported that he had given a woman a safe place to stay after she was assaulted by the suspect, identified as 61-year-old Sean Anthony Maacks. The victim reported that he was sitting in the parking lot of Country Lakes RV Park, and attempted to speak with Maacks when he got out of his car with a crossbow and aimed it at him attempting to fire it. The two got into a scuffle, and then Maacks got a machete from his vehicle and began swinging it at him, and cutting him. Maacks is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
