The Lodging Tax is a tax that is collected from people who stay in Lebanon area hotels and motels and then used to promote Lebanon and Laclede County as a destination. In the fiscal year 2019, the lodging tax collected was $147-thousand-17-dollars. In the Fiscal year 2020, it was $147-thousand-785 and in the fiscal year 2021, it was $134-thousand-658-dollars. Currently, the lodging tax collected in the fiscal year 2022 sits at $51-thousand-970, which Rupert said is slightly ahead of last year.
