Local Veterans fund will get a boost with Chuck Wagon event this weekend

Wagons for Warriors is coming up in just a few days in Lebanon. Close to 40 chuck wagons will be circled on the grounds of the Laclede County Fairgrounds in Lebanon serving chuckwagon-style foods. Tickets for sampling food from the wagons are $10 each, with the proceeds going to the local veterans in need. Steve Hull is one of the organizers of Wagons For Warriors and said over the years they have helped fund several programs

Wagons for Warriors in Lebanon will begin Friday with a parade of horse and mule-drawn wagons that will travel from Gravens at Alexis Drive to the Cowan Civic Center. On Saturday the Wagons will circle to serve food, share stories, and they will set the stage for a Pow Wow. Sunday there will be a Cowboy Church at the wagons.
