Line Worker Rodeo Coming to Lebanon for a second year

For the second year in a row, Ozarks Technical Community College Lebanon Center is inviting the public to the Lineworker Rodeo. Instructor Keith Dinwiddie said it’s a popular competition in which lineworker students from both the Lebanon and Richwood Valley Campus will compete in various categories, similar to last year’s Lineworker Rodeo….

Dinwiddie said the Lineworker students have been learning in weather similar to what they will experience in real life with hot sticks..

The Lineworker Rodeo is Tuesday, May 2nd, beginning at 10 a.m. at the OTC Lebanon Center on MM Highway in Lebanon. The event is free, and the public is invited to watch. Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Professionals from Laclede Electric Cooperative, Ozark Electric Cooperative, Southwest Electric Cooperative, and White River Valley Electric Cooperative will serve as judges.
