A Licking man has been arrested on felony warrants with additional charges pending, following an investigation by the Texas County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office received a tip about a stolen wood splitter that was stolen from Highway V in the Raymondville area and a possible suspect. Officers traveled to a residence on Arnott Road, and recovered the stolen property, and spoke with 54-year-old Charles Miriani who admitted to taking the wood splitter without permission. Miriani was arrested on a felony warrant from Texas County charging him with habitual driving while intoxicated. He was taken to the Texas County Jail with additional charges of stealing requested by law enforcement.
