Today marks the official Bi-centennial of the state of Missouri, and it also marks the beginning of a tribute to the 150-year history of the Lebanon School District. The official groundbreaking of Lebanon Public Schools Alumni Plaza took place today(tues) marking the beginning of construction of a monument to the original school grounds and those who attended school is Lebanon. Included in the construction of the Alumni Plaza will be pillars representing the 4 original buildings, the original steps and the Bell from the Adams Building, and nearly 15-hundred bricks that will honor alumi, teachers, and staff who were part of the 150-year history. The hope is that Alumni Plaza is complete for the 150-year Celebration on September 25th.
