Legislation that would remove restrictions on who can administer Narcan, to someone that’s overdosed is moving forward. The Missouri House on passed the bill that would remove the requirement that state and local law officers and staff must be under the supervision of a medical director or licensed ambulance service in order to administer the overdose-reversing drug. It’s sponsored by State Rep. Brenda Shields of St. Joseph:

The bill would also legalize the use of fentanyl strips. The bill passed unanimously and now moved to the Missouri Senate.
