Legacy Bank in Plato to close

Legacy Bank and Trust announced Wednesday that it intends to close its Plato branch effective August 15, 2020. Legacy Bank and Trust purchased the former Bank of Plato in 2003. At that time, Bank of Plato was one of the smallest banks in Missouri. The Bank will continue to serve the customers of the Plato branch through its office in Mountain Grove. Additionally, the Bank has invested in technology that allows its customers to access their financial records, open accounts, and make deposits through multiple devices. Legacy Bank & Trust is a Rogersville, Missouri-based commercial bank.
