Lebanon Zoning Code book under revision

The Lebanon Zoning and Planning Commission, and Code Administration, are continuing to review the Zoning Code Book to determine what types of residential housing and businesses are allowed in various areas of the city. The lastest discussion relates to CL- Limited Commercial what is permissive and where conditional use permits are required. Code Administrator Joe Berkich spoke to the Zoning and Planning Commission……
Some changes to Limited Commercial would change verbiage for boarding and rooming houses to be described as a short-term rental, it would add pharmacy to permission uses, and would move a commercial bakery to C-2 Zoning. Also discussed was Neighborhood Commercial Districts which includes Washington and Adams and those type of areas where residential and businesses are blended together. Work continues on the codebook as it relates to zoning. The final document will be presented to City Council in a future meeting.
