Lebanon Woman Receives Probation In Death Of Toddler

A Lebanon resident, 62-year-old Angela Coleman, has been sentenced to five years of supervised probation after entering an Alford Plea for second-degree assault of a special victim. Originally charged with first-degree endangerment related to the death of a toddler, Coleman could face ten years in prison if she violates the probation terms.

The incident occurred in 2021; Coleman was reportedly supposed to be watching 3-year-old Mason Sadler when he walked outside, got into a pond, and drowned. Surveillance footage presented in court revealed Coleman had left the children unattended for over an hour, coinciding with the child’s passing. Judge Kenneth Hayden announced the sentence in Camden County on Friday.
