Lebanon Woman killed in car accident in Camden County

A Lebanon woman died in a single vehicle accident at 6:45 Thursday in Camden County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 71 year old Donna R. Fletchall ran off the right side of Route AA, South of Independence Drive, and struck a tree. Meanwhile a man helping to push a stranded car into a driveway was struck and seriously injured on Highway 32, 3 miles west of Lebanon at 5:40pm Thursday. The Missouri Highway patrol reports that 30 year old Cody S. Shields was struck when a car driven by 25 year old Jessica L. Crall, also of Lebanon, swerved to miss the stranded vehicle, not seeing Shields, due to a hill crest and non working lights on the stranded vehicle. Cody Shields was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by Air Ambulance.
