Lebanon woman charged with assaulting a 14 year old

Lebanon Police arrested a Lebanon woman after they were called to a residence in the 11-hundred block of Ivey Lane for an assault on Friday. The incident reportedly started when a man and his girlfriend were removing items from his son’s room as a form of discipline. The boy who is 14 years old became combative with the parent and then began making insulting comments about the girlfriend’s children. The woman then reportedly punched the boy in the face striking him with her fist at least 3 times. After the incident, the woman allegedly sent text messages to the father threatening the boy’s life. 31-year-old Andrea Meyer is charged with assault in the 4th degree and is currently free on bond.
