Lebanon woman charged after kicking her 5 year old

A Lebanon woman accused of kicking her child in the face is charged with child abuse. According to a report filed by a Deputy with the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff’s Office was asked to assist the Children’s Division regarding the abuse of a child. When questioned, the boy’s mother Tiffany Scroggins said that she kicked the boy after he kicked his 6-year-old brother. She said she meant to kick him in the side but accidentally kicked the boy in the face. Scroggins is currently free on bond, with a hearing set for Friday.
