Lebanon woman accused of being intoxicated when she ran over a man

A Lebanon woman is scheduled to be in court on September 21st, for allegedly running over a man in Laclede County earlier this year. 57-year-old Karen Zerbes-Mahabir was driving the car that hit and seriously injured 35-year-old James Matthews, who was walking on private property on Kinfolk Road, on June 21st. Authorities believe that Mahabir was intoxicated at the time of the incident. She is charged with DWI with serious physical injury, and has been summoned to Laclede County Court.
