A total of 609 voters went to the polls in Laclede County to decide on ballot questions for the Public Water Supply District Number 1 of Laclede County and for the City of Lebanon. Public water supply district voters approved a $10-million revenue bond question with a vote of 114 to 60. A sales tax in the amount of one-half of one percent to fund storm water management and parks was approved with a vote of 305 to 129. The sales tax will replace the park tax levy which was being charged on personal and real estate. Voter turnout in Laclede County was 4.28 percent.
