Lebanon R-3 Schools and the City of Lebanon have partnered to open FEMA Storm Shelters

The Lebanon R-3 Schools and the City of Lebanon have now partnered together to open up the FEMA Storm Shelters at various schools in Lebanon. R-3 Superintendent, Dr. David Schmitz says, the school board this is an important partnership for the citizens of Lebanon to have a safe place to go in the event of a severe storm such as a tornado:

Dr. Schmitz says, one school FEMA shelter is under construction and another will soon start:

Dr. Schmitz says the Boswell Elementry School Shelter will be completed in twelve to 18 months.
