Lebanon R-3 School Board Last Meeting of 2023
The Lebanon R-3 School Board met in regular session for the last time in 2023 on Tuesday. The board discussed multiple items, and an interesting part of the meeting was when two fifth graders talked about a day in the life of a fifth grader. The first boy was named Sam Douglas and he discussed that he used to not like going to school, but he changed his mind when he saw all his friends were having fun.
Douglas says he also enjoys the activities that he got to do this year. Harper Havens a fifth grader chimed in by saying what she enjoys as a student.
In other news, the board accepted a bid for water quality testing from St. Johns Environmental Consulting for 28 thousand 120 dollars and a maintenance truck from Ed Morse Ford for 47 thousand 861 dollars. The board also heard a recap on Fall activities from Lebanon High School Athletic Director Will Christian.
