Lebanon R-3 Hires New Director for Alternative Programs

During a study session on Wednesday, the Lebanon R-3 School Board voted to hire Jaymes Wapp as the District’s next Director of Alternative Programs. Wapp is currently Principal at Conway High School, a position he has held for the past three years. He will replace Dr. Kati O’Quinn, who was recently hired as Lebanon High School Principal.
Prior to his current role at Conway, Wapp was an Assistant Principal at Lebanon High School for one year. Wapp’s additional administration experience includes Coordinator of Site Interventions at Reed Academy and Pleasant View Middle School in Springfield Public Schools, a Middle School Principal for summer school at Jarrett Middle School and Reed Academy, and a High School Assistant Principal for the summer school at Parkview High School. Prior to his administration experience, Wapp was a 7th-grade teacher in social studies, reading, and health, as well as a middle school athletics coach. Wapp is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Educational Leadership in Curriculum and Instruction at Evangel University, earned his Masters in Educational Administration from Missouri State University, a Masters degree in Secondary Teaching from Evangel, and his Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from Evangel University.
