Lebanon Police will soon be getting 6 new Patrol Vehicles

The Lebanon Police Department has received approval from City Council to purchase 6 new vehicles. Acting Police Chief Matthew Wright requested approval to purchase 6 2024 Dodge Durangos from Graven Chrysler Jeep Ram in Lebanon. Councilman Gib Adkins asked about the rotation of patrol vehicles….

Councilman Dan Mizell asked why they chose a less fuel efficient and larger vehicles….

Wright said they got a bid for a Ford SUV but the Dodge came in a lot lower. The 6 vehicles and ancillary equipment came in at $360-thousand. The 6 patrol vehicles that are being replaced will be transferred to another department in the city, or sold at auction.
