Lebanon Police Officer honored by the Route 66 Friends of the NRA

The Route 66 Friends of the NRA which is headquartered in Laclede County presented a limited edition print saluting emergency services personnel to the widow of the late Kendle Blackburn, who was an officer with the Lebanon Police Department. The print, which was created by the National Friends of the NRA, was signed by Officers with the Lebanon Police Department and the Laclede County Sheriff’s Office and was presented to Debbie Blackburn on Tuesday. Several were in attendance for the presentation including several current and former Law Enforcement Officers, and 2 of Blackburn’s children. In addition to being a strong supporter of the NRA, Officer Blackburn was well known as a community service-minded officer and was heavily involved in Shop With a Cop and Drug Take-Back events in Lebanon. Lebanon Police Officer Kendle Blackburn died in December from complications related to Covid 19.
