Lebanon Police investigate break in a church

Lebanon Police are investigating, after a Lebanon woman woke to find that someone had cut the catalytic converter from her vehicle. The victim reported that she parked her truck in her driveway, on Willow Lane on Saturday afternoon. She said when she got into the truck again on Sunday, she noticed it was very loud. A family member inspected the vehicle for her and discovered that someone had cut off the catalytic converter. As the officer was investigating and speaking to neighbors, he discovered that someone had attempted to cut the catalytic converter off a truck that was parked at a second residence.

Lebanon Police are investigating a report of burglary and property damage at a church in the 300 block of North Monroe. A church member reported that on Monday morning, he went to the church to clean and noticed the gate open on the back side of the church. As the man approached the gate, he noticed a lower left window to the building had been broken. During an inspection of the building, the officer located a blood trail from the broken window into the kitchen, blood on multiple door handles, and on most of the food inside the refrigerator. The officer also found a crowbar near where a door had been kicked. Evidence was sent to the crime lab for testing.
