One person is in custody and another in the hospital after a stabbing in Lebanon early this morning. According to Lebanon Police Chief Brian Arnold, the two men were fighting at Casey’s General Store on Elm Street at around 5:20 this morning, when the incident escalated and the 36-year-old victim was stabbed. The victim was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield in serious condition. The 23-year-old suspect was arrested at a residence on Morgan Road a short time later. He remains in custody at the Laclede County Jail.
