Lebanon Park Board begins planning for new money

Nearly 70 percent of voters on August 3rd approved a sales tax that will benefit the Lebanon Park System and those who use it. During Wednesday’s Park Board meeting, Parks Director John Shelton said staff would like to develop a plan for future capital improvements….

Some of the capital projects ideas included replacing the tractor and including a small backhoe attachment, replacing ball field lights, fall protection at Harke Park, maintenance at Boswell pool. Shelton said they need to develop a maintenance and replacement schedule. Lebanon Park Board and Lebanon City Council will get together for a joint work session in the next month or two to brainstorm needs and wants for the City Park System.
