Lebanon Mayor on State of the City

Lebanon Mayor Jared Carr gave the annual State of the City update during before a gathering of citizens and the Lebanon Rotary Club on Thursday. Mayor Carr said throughout the past year, they have been working to implement policies and best practices to serve the citizens. Using the 2018 citizen satisfaction survey, they were able to come to a consensus on policy direction with the focus on a clear vision for the future. The Mayor went on to say that as promised the Lebanon Farmers Market Pavilion has been bid out for construction and should be ready to open by Memorial Day Weekend. The New Nelson Park is on time, and the Ribbon Cutting is set for April 3rd. Code enforcement was among the priorities of the citizen survey, and they have hired additional staff, and if you drive the streets of Lebanon you will notice cleaner properties and businesses. Mayor Carr said they will continue working to keep lebanon safe and build upon partnerships with the county agencies.
