Lebanon Man Sentenced For Child Pornography

A 45-year-old Lebanon man was given a 9-year sentence for a child pornography offense yesterday.
In August, Karl Mason opted to plead guilty to a single count of first-degree promoting child pornography.
Mason’s legal troubles began in January when he was arrested, initially facing nine child pornography-related charges.
The Lebanon Police Department initiated the investigation after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding potential child pornography, which was ultimately traced back to Mason. After a search of his residence, law enforcement discovered over 300 images and videos containing child pornographic material.
