A Lebanon man is in custody following accusations of child abuse. Lebanon Police began investigating when they received a complaint from the 10-year-old victim’s grandparent. During the investigation police questioned the child’s mother who said that Danny Jackson had punched her daughter in the face several times, kicked her while she was on the ground in the legs stomach and back, slammed her into a wall and choked her out twice to the point she lost consciousness. When asked why she didn’t report the assault on her child, the mother said she was terrified of what Jackson might do to everyone in the home if she did. While speaking to the victim, the officer observed that she had severe bruising to most of her body. Jackson is charged with 2 counts of felony child abuse. His next court date is June 8th.
