Lebanon man charged with child abuse

A September 16th bond hearing has been set for a Lebanon man who is charged with child abuse, and 2 counts of domestic assault. Lebanon Police responded to the 600 Block of North Adams on September 1st, when it was reported that a man and woman were fighting and there were children present. At the scene, it was reported that Tige Pogue has hit the victim in the face with his fist, and then picked her up and then slammed her onto the floor. The woman walked away and later told a witness that she was calling a family member to pick up her children. Pogue is accused of abusing the victim daily, causing injuries including cracked ribs. He is also of abusing two children who live in the home, by striking them in the legs, wrists, and stomach. Pogue’s bond was set at $50-thousand-dollars.
