A Lebanon man was arrested after Laclede County Deputies and a Trooper with the Highway Patrol responded to a report of shots fired on Sunday. Law Enforcement responded to the call in the 13-thousand block of Grouse Lane and spoke with a woman who said that she and Jeffrey Taylor were arguing, and she went outside, ran to a truck, and locked the doors. She said that Taylor stood in front of the driver’s side window and aimed a pistol at her, and said it’s either you or the dog. She said that Taylor then walked away and she heard a gunshot. Taylor reportedly shot the dog while it was in its kennel inside the house. Taylor was placed under arrest for being intoxicated while possessing a loaded firearm and discharging it in a negligent manner inside a residence. He is charged with unlawful use of a weapon. He is currently free on a bond of $10-thousand-dollars.
